The Neon Nits lice egg locator spray is very rich in the fluorescent PINK color that is formulated to dry quickly and highlight the nits. Permanently dying the nits allows you to better see them to ensure you have gotten them all removed.
Neon Nits will color the nits due to the unique polymer structure of the nit surface the color quickly adheres to the nits, but does not strongly adheres to the surface of the hair. Therefor most of the color can be brushed out of the hair but stays on the nits.
